Story with a Photo- Legacy Bricks

Each of these bricks represents a story, each year the school adds a new design to the collage. At one point in their lives almost every student buys a legacy brick. The bricks can have your name on them or something to inspire others. Although each brick looks the same from a distance, each brick has a special meaning behind it. They represent the student's life here at Mission they tell their story.

MSJMCW Story

The bell rings and all the students run to the various food booths and try to find their friends. They stand in line waiting for tickets to buy their food. Then they wait for their food, this is the one week where all the cultures combine, we try new food, eat the things we love, and we get to experience what it is like to be a part of the Mission Community. This is the one week of the year, aside from homecoming we all look forward to. The best day of all is yet to come, all the performances that have months of preparation behind them, the assembly that L2 and many of the students have put countless hours of work into. Nobody wants this week to be over, but everything good must come to an end.

Shutter Speed and Everything After

My partner is Neha Saxena
Her Blog: http://nehasaxena-photos.blogspot.com/
Lens Blog Photo

  1. The trucks on the right side are not blurry therefore it has fast shutter speed.
  2.  I choose leading lines as a rule of composition for this picture because the guard rail goes through the scene pulling me into the picture. Neha saw the rule of depth because the viewer can see all the way down the guard rail.
  3. I choose line as an element of art because the lines on the truck flipped over show line. Also the line on the side of the highway show more line.
  4. I choose pattern as a principal of design because the second part of the flipped over has blue blocks going across of it. These blocks or lines create a pattern which catches they eye.
